
Guwahati, 26 July (HS): Assam Chief Minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma on Sunday said that every member of Team Assam is working tirelessly on the ground to support flood-affected people, treating them like family while carrying out relief and rescue operations.
In a post on social media, the Chief Minister said guardian ministers and local MLAs are working closely with the district administration and various agencies to manage the flood situation, putting in relentless efforts during the disaster.
Sarma also appreciated the support extended by local residents, social and community organisations, voluntary groups and humanitarian citizens, saying their collective efforts have strengthened the relief operations.
Emphasising the spirit of unity, the Chief Minister said Assam will overcome the crisis together with courage and determination, adding that a new dawn will come again.------------
