Guwahati, 12 July (HS): Assam Women and Child Development and Tourism Minister Ajanta Neog on Sunday reviewed the construction of the ₹85-crore Integrated Old Age Home and Child Care Centre at Bamunigaon in Boko and directed officials to complete the project by October without compromising on quality.

Calling it the first integrated facility of its kind in the Northeast, Neog said the centre will provide a safe and dignified environment for children and senior citizens. Spread across 65 bighas, the campus will accommodate 344 residents and include modern facilities such as a hospital, classrooms, counselling rooms, library, auditorium and recreation spaces.----------
