Nellore, July 1 (HS): Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu on Wednesday personally distributed pensions to beneficiaries under the NTR Bharosa pension scheme during the 'Pedala Sevalo' programme in Nellore district.

Visiting the SC Colony at Punnavaripalem village in Gudur constituency, the Chief Minister handed over a monthly widow pension to Padmamma and a disability pension to Tulasamma, a differently-abled beneficiary.

After distributing the pensions, Naidu interacted with the beneficiaries and their family members, enquired about the issues they were facing and assured them of the state's continued support.

He also spent time with the families and reiterated the government's commitment to ensuring that welfare benefits reach all eligible beneficiaries.

The Chief Minister is touring Nellore district as part of the 'Pedala Sevalo' programme, under which he is interacting directly with beneficiaries of various government welfare schemes.
