A Glimpse of 'Apnapan '

New Delhi, May 26 (H.S.): The book ‘Apnapan’, centred on Prime Minister Narendra Modi, will be launched today at the Bharat Ratna C. Subramaniam Auditorium of the Indian Agricultural Research Institute (IARI), Pusa, in New Delhi. The auditorium is situated within the National Agricultural Science Complex at Pusa. ‘Apnapan’ is an intimate and inspirational work authored by Union Minister for Agriculture & Farmers Welfare and Rural Development, Shivraj Singh Chouhan. The information was shared through an official statement.

Former Prime Minister H.D. Deve Gowda and former Vice President M. Venkaiah Naidu will grace the launch ceremony. Several Union Ministers, Governors, Chief Ministers from various states, social leaders, authors, and journalists are also expected to attend the event.

In ‘Apnapan’, Chouhan has vividly portrayed the experiences he witnessed, learned from, and imbibed while working alongside Prime Minister Modi in different capacities. According to Shivraj Singh Chouhan, the book is not merely a narration of events, but a journey of ideas. Through the themes of organisation, dedication, and message, the work brings forth the principles of leadership, service, and nation-building. Chouhan has previously served as the Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh.

Notably, it was on this very day in 2014 that Narendra Modi assumed office as the Prime Minister of India. Expressing his happiness on X, Chouhan wrote, “Today marks the completion of 12 glorious years of this illustrious journey. During this period, the entire nation has been imbued with enthusiasm and a sense of national pride. These 12 years represent a golden era of India’s reconstruction, the fulfilment of public aspirations, and the rise of a ‘Developed India’. This period has witnessed the empowerment of the last person standing in the queue and the realisation of the resolve of ‘Antyodaya’.”

He further wrote, “Following the mantra of ‘Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas’, the Modi government transformed the lives of villages, the poor, farmers, women, and the youth.”

He added, “Let us all collectively become participants in this glorious journey of development and contribute towards building a strong, prosperous, developed, and glorious India. Heartfelt congratulations to the respected Prime Minister on the completion of 12 years of this historic and unparalleled journey of service, good governance, renaissance, and welfare of the poor.”
