New Delhi, 25 May (H.S.): Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed satisfaction over the Bharatiya Janata Party’s decisive victory in the Falta Assembly seat of West Bengal, describing the result as “a victory of democracy and a defeat of intimidation and hooliganism.” He also congratulated BJP workers across the state for the party’s record win.

In a late-night post on X, the Prime Minister said, “The people of Falta have delivered their verdict. Democracy has triumphed, and forces of fear and intimidation have been defeated. Congratulations to Shri Debangshu Panda on securing victory by a record margin. This reflects the unwavering trust of the people of West Bengal in the BJP. People are witnessing the excellent work being carried out by the BJP across various sectors, and that is why they have decided to bless us with even greater support.”

In another post, Prime Minister Modi praised the efforts of party workers, stating, “My congratulations to all BJP workers in West Bengal for their outstanding work. In the coming days as well, we will continue working for the progress of West Bengal. The victory in Falta stands as proof of the people’s unwavering faith in the BJP. I once again congratulate all BJP workers in the state for their exceptional efforts.”
