17 May (HS): Minister of Tourism and Culture Department of Uttar Pradesh
Government, Jaiveer Singh, held a public meeting at his residence Sirsaganj on
Sunday and listened to the problems of the public along with the district level
officials. During the public hearing, Tourism Minister Jaiveer Singh listened
to the complaints of the complainants from the district and other districts one
by one and directed the concerned district level officers present there to
resolve the complaints in a quality and timely manner. Taking the complaints of
the complainants seriously, he got the complaints resolved in some cases by
talking to the concerned officers directly over the phone. He also directed the
concerned officers that after the process of quality complaint resolution, the
complainant should also be informed that his complaint has been resolved.
During
the public hearing, most of the complaints were related to land disputes,
encroachments and liberation from possession. The Tourism Minister, while
giving instructions to the Sub-Divisional Magistrate Sirsaganj and the Police
Circle Officer Sirsaganj through the District Magistrate, said that on the
Thana Divas being organised on Saturdays, in such land dispute cases officials should
be sent to the spot by forming a joint team of police and revenue and after
investigation, should be resolved in a quality manner.
For
this, he directed all the concerned officers to prepare a compliance report of
the quality resolution of the complaints received and inform him as well. He
said that the Uttar Pradesh Government is serious about the problems of the
public, hence the officers should ensure speedy and quality resolution of the
problems of the public at the local level.
During
the public hearing, most of the complaints received were related to land,
electricity, water, ration cards, electricity bills, housing schemes, Aadhaar
cards, encroachments, police matters, etc. During the public hearing, he also
clarified that if the complainant's complaint is not resolved and he comes to
us again, action will be taken against the concerned officer.
