(HS): Uttar Pradesh Assembly Speaker Satish Mahana said on Friday that we are
all bound by the Constitution of India, which is our guiding text. He added
that the Developed India Youth Parliament is a powerful outcome of
Prime Minister Narendra Modi's vision of 2047, through which today's youth are
being prepared to build the India of the future.
Assembly Speaker Satish Mahana was speaking as the
chief guest at the launch of the state-level Developed India Youth
Parliament at the Uttar Pradesh Assembly Hall on Friday. Deputy Chief
Minister Brajesh Pathak, Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Sports and
Youth Welfare Girish Yadav, MLAs Dr. Surabhi, Neeraj Bora, and Shashank Verma,
along with numerous public representatives and officials, were present at the
event.
In his address, Mahana addressed the youth, saying
that this generation will determine the future's direction and condition, and
therefore, it is essential to seriously consider the shape and form of the
future today. He said that it is the responsibility of governments to pave the
way for development for the coming generation and ensure solutions to their
problems.
Expressing concern over the growing influence of
technology, he said that artificial intelligence (AI) should be used for
positive purposes; otherwise it could become a Bhasmasur. He urged young people
to use their discretion and knowledge wisely, manage their time properly, and
strengthen their future through continuous hard work.
Mahana said that knowledge is meaningful only when
it reaches society. Commitment and willpower are the key pillars of success in
life. In his message to the youth, he urged them to always work to win, not to
defeat, and to avoid arrogance about their abilities.
At the event, Deputy Chief Minister Brajesh Pathak,
describing the youth as the future of the country, said that today's youth have
immense potential and that taking risks is essential for success. He encouraged
the youth to move forward with humility and a positive attitude. Officials
associated with My Bharat ensured proper arrangements during the
event. Regional Director Anil Singh and State Director Gopesh Pandey welcomed
the guests.
It is noteworthy
that 375 young participants selected from 75 districts of the state are
participating in this state-level Youth Parliament. They will present their
views on the topic Union Budget 2026: Strengthening the Path of Indian
Youth towards a Developed India 2047 from May 1 to 3, 2026. The winners
of the competition will have the opportunity to represent Uttar Pradesh at the
national level. Finally, Assembly Speaker Satish Mahana, while congratulating
all the participants, said that India will once again become a nation that
guides the world and the youth will play an important role in achieving this
goal.
