April 30 (HS): Budaun Police apprehended three members of a gang suspected of
creating bogus Aadhaar cards and fraudulent papers on Thursday, according to
police. The action was taken out in the Hazratpur region, where the suspects
were discovered using an unlawful setup to produce bogus identification
documents, they added. The defendants have been identified as Farman Ali of
Munshi Nagla, Anuj Kumar of Uprela, and Brajnandan of Sirsauli.
According
to the police, they seized a fingerprint scanner, three computers, a hard disk,
a scanner, a huge number of Aadhaar cards, and many suspicious papers. During
interrogation, officials found that the gang had been manufacturing phony
identification documents for a long time, deceiving people and making money
illegally.
Station
House Officer Pushpendra Singh stated that the accused have been brought before
a court, and that attempts are being made to locate and arrest more members of
the group. He also
stated that new disclosures are inevitable as the inquiry develops.
