April 30 (HS): Uttar Pradesh Governor Anandiben Patel has extended her

heartfelt greetings and best wishes to the countrymen and the people of the

state on Buddha Purnima. The Governor said that Lord Buddha's life and

teachings provide invaluable guidance on peace, compassion, and non-violence

for all humanity. In today's times, Lord Buddha's teachings have become even

more relevant, inspiring us towards tolerance, harmony, and human welfare.

She said

that this sacred festival of Buddha Purnima gives us the message to follow the

path of truth, love, and compassion. She called on everyone to embrace the

ideals of Lord Buddha in their lives and strengthen peace, unity, and

brotherhood in society. She wished that this auspicious occasion brings

happiness, peace and prosperity in everyone's life.
