Firozabad, April 19 (HS): State

Deputy Chief Minister Brajesh Pathak said on Sunday that the Congress,

Samajwadi Party, and other opposition parties prevented the passage of the

Women's Reservation Bill. The women of the country will never forgive them.

They will have to pay the price for this in the elections. He claimed that the

BJP will form a clear majority government in Bengal.

Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Brajesh Pathak is in Firozabad on

Sunday. He inspected the health services there and then attended the wedding

ceremony of the daughters of Tundla BJP MLA Prempal Singh Dhangar. He also met

with the media during the meeting. Regarding the uproar over smart (prepaid)

meters in the state, the Deputy Chief Minister stated that the government has

formed a high-level inquiry committee and that any decision taken by the government

will be in the public interest. Regarding the failure of the Women's

Reservation Bill to pass in the Lok Sabha, he stated that the Samajwadi Party,

Congress, and other opposition parties prevented the bill from being passed,

and that the women of the country will never forgive them for this. There is

anger among women. After independence, Congress failed to provide women with

respect and equality.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has done the work of integrating women into the

mainstream and giving them equal status. The Prime Minister said that the bill

brought by women in the country's biggest Panchayat, Lok Sabha, for law making,

was stopped from being passed by Congress, SP and other opposition parties

through a conspiracy. Women will never forgive such parties. He said that

whenever SP has been in power in Uttar Pradesh, the gangster mafia has

flourished and been nurtured. Therefore, SP does not want at all that women

should get 33 percent reservation in Lok Sabha and Vidhan Sabha and they should

sit there and make laws because when women will make laws, these gangster mafia

will be in jail. That is why this bill has been stopped from being passed.

Regarding the West Bengal elections, Deputy Chief Minister Brajesh Pathak

said that this time Trinamool Congress will be wiped out in Bengal and clearly

BJP government will be formed there. During this time, MLA Manish Asija,

Prempal Singh Dhangar, District President Uday Pratap Singh and other BJP

members were present.
