Hyderabad, 09 March (H.S.): Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy on Saturday said women journalists continue to inspire society through their commitment to truth, integrity and responsible reporting.

Speaking at a programme organised in Hyderabad on the occasion of International Women’s Day, the Chief Minister appreciated the dedication and courage of women journalists and acknowledged their growing role in strengthening democratic values and public discourse.

He said journalism plays a crucial role in shaping society and emphasised that women journalists have consistently highlighted social issues and brought important concerns of the public to the forefront.

Revanth Reddy also noted that the increasing participation of women in the media sector reflects the changing dynamics of society and contributes to more inclusive and balanced reporting.

Several women journalists were felicitated during the programme in recognition of their contributions to journalism and their role in promoting truth, integrity and responsible media practices.
