Prayagraj, 09 March (HS): The Sangam city witnessed

a unique example of mutual harmony and brotherhood. An Iftar party, organized

by Congress leader Irshad Ullah, not only showcased the Ganga-Jamuni culture

but also served as a centerpiece of political and social messages. A photograph

was used to communicate the message of love. The most notable aspect of this

Iftar was a big portrait of Rahul Gandhi. The picture had the following

inscription: Iftar of Love: No Hindus or Muslims

During

the occasion, fasting people broke their fast by sitting in front of a

photograph of Rahul Gandhi. This iftaar perfectly expressed the concept of

eradicating hatred and uniting all elements of society. Congress leader Irshad

Ullah stated that the country requires a united political system. “We planned

this Iftar of Love to carry on Rahul Gandhi's idea of

Mohabbat ki Dukaan. There is no Hinduism or Islam here; everyone is

human and a member of India's common culture, he opined Sitting at the

same dastarkhwan, they shared fruits and dishes. This scene of Hindu-Muslim

unity brought alive the ancient culture of Prayagraj, where festivals are

celebrated not by religion but by heart. Those who broke the fast included

Shalini Gupta, Meena Singh, Shail Gupta, Ashfia Parveen, Rohit Verma, Vikram

Sahu, Pooja Sahu, Adarsh Mishra, Shariq, Mohd. Suhail, Mohd. Shadab, Aaqib
