Kolkata, 08 March (H.S.): Two Bangladeshi nationals accused of murdering a political worker in their country were arrested from Bangaon in North 24 Parganas district of West Bengal, officials said.
The arrests were made by the Special Task Force (STF) of West Bengal Police following specific intelligence inputs that the duo had illegally entered India after committing the crime and were hiding near the border.
Acting on the tip-off, an STF team conducted a raid in the Bangaon area during the intervening night of March 7 and 8 and apprehended the two accused.
