Guwahati, 23 March (HS): AIUDF Chief Badruddin Ajmal launched a sharp attack on the opposition alliance, asserting that it would not be able to stop the Bharatiya Janata Party from returning to power.

The All India United Democratic Front (AIUDF) chief was talking to media persons after a program last night. He claimed that the opposition bloc lacks the strength and unity required to challenge the BJP effectively in the upcoming elections.

Taking aim at the Congress, Ajmal termed it a “communal party,” alleging that a significant section of Muslim voters does not support the party for this reason.

He further criticised the opposition alliance, questioning its credibility and cohesion and reiterated that the BJP remains a formidable political force in the state.-----------
