Bijnor,

22 March (HS): Saumil Agarwal (28), a young YouTuber from Dhampur, has been

stuck in Israel for over a month. Saumil, who went there to film on February

24, 2026, is now in severe condition. He doesn't have enough food or clean

clothing to wear. Saumil's family has asked the Indian authorities to securely

return him home.

He

stated over the phone that Iran has caused havoc: Saumil, the sole son of Rajiv

Agarwal, the proprietor of Khairati Sweets and a resident of Mohalla Bakkalan

in Dhampur, is a prominent YouTuber. On the request of a corporation, he

traveled to Israel on February 24, 2026, to shoot. His visit lasted barely two

to three days, but the conflict between Israel and Iran began. Iran is

launching a heavy strike. Due to this, he is stuck there. Saumil told in a

phone conversation that the situation in Israel is very bad and Iran has

created havoc. He is currently hiding in a hotel bunker in Tel Aviv.

Severe

shortage of food and clothing: Describing his difficulties, Saumil said that he

has exhausted all the money he brought from home. The company is providing food

and drink, but he is unable to find pure vegetarian food, which is a major

problem for him. He avoids non-vegetarian food, making life difficult for him.

Furthermore, he only took a pair or two of clothes with him, which have become

dirty due to lack of washing, making bathing and washing difficult.

Transit

visa problem: It is possible to travel from Israel to India via Europe, but

Saumil does not have a transit visa. Consequently, he is unable to travel to

Europe and returning to India has become extremely difficult. This situation

has further increased the anxiety of his family members.

Family's

Appeal: Ashish Singhal, MD of Oxford Degree College, and former Municipal

Council President Leena Singhal, who are also relatives of Saumil, stated that

they are in constant contact with Saumil. Hearing Saumil's plight brings

goosebumps to their faces. Mother Parul Agarwal stated that she is deeply

worried about her only son and is at a loss for what to do. The family has

appealed to the Indian government to intervene immediately and bring Saumil

Agarwal safely to India.
