Guwahati, 22 March (HS): Assam BJP president Dilip Saikia has appealed to party leader Jayanta Kumar Das to reconsider his decision to quit the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).
Reacting to Das’s resignation last night after attending a program, Saikia urged him to rethink his move, emphasizing that such decisions should be taken after careful consideration. He noted that Jayanta Kumar Das had worked diligently for the party, particularly in the Dispur constituency.
Saikia further acknowledged Das’s contributions and efforts in strengthening the party’s presence in the region, stating that his work and dedication have been significant.
Saikia said that party's national spokesman and north east incharge Submit Patra has visited Jayant Das house and talked about his accommodation. After that it is meaningless to visit anybody to his house again.--------------
