Prayagraj,
March 21.The AICC Secretary-incharge and former Cabinet Minister of the
Chhattisgarh Government, Rajesh Tiwari, said that the true Eid will be when our
hearts become as clear and pure as glass. While addressing an Eid Milan
Programme organized by Congress workers at the residence of UPCC Vice
President, Manish Mishra in Georgetown on Saturday afternoon, he said that the
festival of Eid conveys the message of justice, equality, unity and peace.
However, this time, amid an atmosphere of war and unrest across the world,
there is a deep crisis of peace and brotherhood during this festival. Referring
to the war situation in the Middle East, he alleged that due to the wrong
policies of the Modi government, the country is facing serious consequences.
He also
condemned the hike in prices of premium petrol by Rs.
2 and industrial diesel by Rs. 22 per litre , and
added that due to the shortage of
cocking gas, street food vendors business are being severely affected. Reports
have been received that hundreds of shops in the Prayagraj city are shutdown
due to the non-availability of commercial cylinders, pushing
daily wage earners towards starvation. Even in high class restaurants,
customers are unable to order food as per their choice. He further stated that
if the ongoing war of United States, Israel, and Iran continues, it will have a
deeper impact in inflation in India.
He
later visted the residence of Congress Gangapar District President Ashfaq
Ahmed, the duo hugged each other with joy, traditional enthusiasm and
brotherhood. Rajesh Tiwari congratulated him and said that Eid is the beginning
of the spirit of mutual brotherhood, love, harmony and love. This festival
gives us the message of unity and compassion. This is a day to share happiness
and pray for peace. Discussing the current situation, Tiwari said that the BJP
government has bulldozed the employment of crores of laborers by abolishing
MNREGA, which the Congress party condemns. Today, there is an outcry all around
regarding gas cylinders. The government should solve the problems of the people
soon. Gangapar District President Ashfaq Ahmed said that this holy occasion of
Eid gives us the message of love, compassion and mutual harmony. This festival
teaches that humanity and service is the biggest religion. 'Ganga-Jamuni
Tehzeeb' is our heritage. It is the resolve of Congress that there should be
peace and tranquility in the country and the state, there should be a smile on
every face and mutual harmony should increase instead of hatred.
