12 March (HS): Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Thursday visited and

worshipped Mata Pateshwari in the sanctum sanctorum of Devipatan temple and

prayed for the happiness and prosperity of the country and the state. After

this, the Chief Minister reached the cowshed located in the temple premises,

where he fed green fodder and jaggery to the cattle and caressed them. During

this visit to the temple, Devipatan Peethadhishwar Mithlesh Nath Yogi Maharaj

was present with him. The Chief Minister had reached Balrampur on Wednesday on

a two-day visit. He inspected the under-construction Maa Pateshwari University

and Medical College in Balrampur and held a review meeting of the development

works with the officials. After this, he took night rest at the Devipatan

temple.

After the darshan

and puja of Maa Pateshwari Ji on Thursday morning, at around 9:35 am, the Chief

Minister's convoy reached the helipad of Adishakti Maa Pateshwari Public

School, Bhawanipur from Devipatan Temple, from where he left for Ayodhya.

During

this, the Chief Minister took information from the officials regarding the

preparations for the Devipatan State Fair starting from March 19 and gave

instructions to strengthen the arrangements. He said that Chaitra Navratri is

starting from March 19. During the Navratri fair, a large number of devotees

come to Devipatan Shaktipeeth for darshan. In such a situation, proper

arrangements should be ensured for the safety of the devotees, easy darshan,

drinking water, cleanliness, uninterrupted power supply and crowd management.

The Chief Minister directed that on the occasion of Navratri, a special

cleanliness campaign should be run around the temples and religious places and

additional sanitation workers should be deployed as per requirement.
