New Delhi, 09 February (H.S.): Bihar's former Deputy Chief Minister Tejashwi Yadav appeared before Rouse Avenue Court on Monday in the Land-for-Jobs money laundering case, denying all allegations and affirming readiness to contest them.

The Enforcement Directorate (ED) filed its first supplementary chargesheet on August 6, 2024, against Lalu Yadav, Tejashwi Yadav, and others; prosecution sanction against Lalu awaited post ED's May 14, 2024, court submission.

Court took cognizance of ED's first supplementary chargesheet on September 18, 2024, incorporating 96 documents as evidence. Regular bail granted March 7, 2024, to Rabri Devi, Misa Bharti, Seema Yadav, and Hrdayanand Chaudhary; initial chargesheet cognizance January 27.

Originally registered by CBI, court granted bail October 4, 2023, to Tejashwi Yadav, Lalu Prasad Yadav, and Rabri Devi. Cognizance taken September 22, 2023, on CBI's second chargesheet following July 3, 2023, supplement. Initial chargesheet against 16 accused including Lalu, Rabri Devi, Misa Bharti filed October 7, 2022; cognizance February 27, 2023.
