New Delhi, 15 February (H.S.): The Central Government has announced the finalists for three global Artificial Intelligence (AI) challenge competitions ahead of the nation's AI conference. Over 4,650 applications were received from more than 60 countries, from which 70 teams have been selected for the final stage.

According to the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, the selected teams will present their solutions on February 16 and 17 at Bharat Mandapam and Sushma Swaraj Bhawan in New Delhi. The grand finale and awards ceremony will be held there.

The AI for All Challenge attracted over 1,350 applications, with 20 teams shortlisted. These teams have developed AI solutions addressing healthcare, agriculture, climate, and education.

The 'AI by Her' challenge received more than 800 applications, selecting 30 women-led teams. These teams have created solutions related to cancer detection, health tech, and digital services.

The YUVAi Global Youth Challenge saw over 2,500 applications from youths aged 13 to 21, with 20 teams chosen as finalists. Their solutions focus on disease identification, agriculture, flood warnings, and deepfake detection.
