02 Jan (HS): Narendra Kashyap, Minister of State (Independent Charge) of

Backward Classes Welfare and Disability Empowerment Department, conducted a

site inspection of Government Blind Boys and Girls Inter Colleges in Lucknow. Minister

Kashyap inspected the progress of ground development, tiles manufacturing and

other development works, gave strict instructions to ensure quality. He observed

the newly constructed smart class, stressed on providing modern, quality

education to disabled children by connecting them with technology. Special

emphasis was laid on cleanliness and hygiene of the school premises, clean

environment was said to be essential for the health and studies of children.

He

instructed officials to strictly follow the guidelines related to children's

safety, facilities and class timings during the winter season. Under the

leadership of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, the state government reiterated

its commitment towards empowerment of the disabled and expressed its resolve to

provide modern education and a conducive environment. He gave instructions to

ensure regular monitoring of all schemes and construction works and immediate

action on negligence.
