02 Jan (HS): Under the auspices of the Prayag Utthan Samiti, a blanket
distribution program was organized for the disabled, widows, and the destitute
at Shri Kashi Prasad Singh Intermediate College, Kathouli, Meja Road. The chief
guest of the program was Dr. Uday Pratap Singh, President of the Prayag Utthan
Samiti.
Addressing
the program, Dr. Uday Pratap Singh said that the Prayag Utthan Samiti's goal is
to provide assistance to the last person in society. He said, The
committee strives to ensure that no poor or needy suffers from cold, hunger, or
deprivation. Service to humanity is our religion, and the Prayag Utthan Samiti
will always stand shoulder to shoulder with the people of rural areas in their
joys and sorrows.
The
committee's general secretary, Abhishek C. Singh, and Dr. Anurag Singh were
special guests at the event. Former Kathouli head Hemant Sharma, Madho Prasad
Mishra, Jitendra Sharma, Jai Prakash, Daya Shankar Gautam, Sheetla Yadav,
Ramesh Sharma, Girja Sharma, Kripa Shankar Pandey, and a large number of villagers
and dignitaries were present. At the end of the program, school manager Ajit
Singh expressed his gratitude to chief guest Dr. Uday Pratap Singh and all the
guests.
