AMARAVATI, 1 July (H.S.): The Andhra Pradesh High Court, in a temporary order on Tuesday, halted all proceedings and investigations against YSRCP leader YS Jagan Mohan Reddy for two weeks concerning the demise of a party supporter during his recent trip to Rentapalla village in Palnadu district.
On June 18, Reddy traveled to Rentapalla to see the relatives of a party leader who had taken his own life a year prior due to purported mistreatment by TDP leaders and law enforcement.
While heading to the village, C Singayya, a YSRCP supporter, reportedly was run over by a vehicle carrying Reddy and died from his injuries.
