Dhubri (Assam), 15 June (HS): Police have arrested a person named Nurul Haque Islam in the mysterious wall writing case in Dhubri. IGP Akhilesh Kumar Singh, who reached Dhubri to review the law and order situation regarding this entire case, said that the situation in Dhubri is completely under control. The person who did the wall writing has been arrested. He was caught only after the instructions of the Chief Minister. Initially he is being considered mentally unstable, but everything will be clear after medical examination.

The IGP, while talking to journalists, said that this writing was done on June 5. Along with this, 50 people have been arrested so far in connection with the recent incident of throwing banned beef in Hanuman temple of Dhubri. He said that the drive against criminals will be continued.

The IGP also said that under the instructions of the Chief Minister, a strict drive will also be launched against those involved in cow smuggling and animal trade. At the same time, on the question asked about the newly formed organization 'Naveen Bangla Group', he said that the investigation is still going on.

IGP Singh gave this information after a detailed meeting with the newly appointed Senior Superintendent of Police of Dhubri, Leena Doloi. SP Leena Doloi has appealed to the people of Dhubri not to pay attention to rumors. He said that his first priority is to ensure the safety of the general public. So far no untoward incident has been reported. If there is any suspicious activity or incident, then Contact the police immediately.
