Sultanpur,
19 March (HS): Sanjay Nishad, a minister in Uttar Pradesh, has sparked outrage
after reportedly boasting of using force against police officers at a speech in
Sultanpur. Nishad, speaking at a
gathering at Madardih as part of his Sanvidhanik Adhikar Rath Yatra, claimed to
have gone to excessive lengths to enforce his power. A video of the minister's comments has
subsequently gone viral on social media, with Nishad declaring he would
'remove' anybody who wrongly implicated others.
He further added that anytime justice is delayed, he directs his
grievances to high authorities, including the chief minister. The Uttar Pradesh Congress branch has
responded forcefully, seeking legal action against Nishad. They slammed both his words and the BJP's
perceived tolerance for such behavior, pressing the chief minister to take
immediate action.
