Tripura Government to Recruit 333 Officials Across Departments

Agartala, 24 February (HS): The Tripura government has announced a large-scale recruitment drive, opening 333 positions across various departments to enhance administrative efficiency.

Tourism Minister and Cabinet Spokesperson Sushanta Chowdhury detailed the recruitment plan, highlighting key department-wise allocations. The Forest Department will appoint 104 Forest Guards through a special examination board, while the Finance Department is set to recruit 140 Auditors for its treasury division to tackle staff shortages.

Currently, the number of auditors is insufficient. This recruitment will address the gap and be conducted swiftly, Chowdhury stated at a press briefing.

The Cooperative Department has been permitted to fill 30 posts, including Auditors, Investigators, and Statistical Investigators. The Social Welfare Department will induct 34 ICDS Supervisors through the Service Commission.

In the health sector, the Regional Geriatric Centre at AGMC & GBP Hospital will gain 20 new staff members, alongside two Bio-Medical Engineers. The Tourism Department will hire three Group-D employees via direct recruitment, with two promotions to Upper Division Clerk.

Additionally, the Directorate of Biotechnology will appoint a Scientific Assistant.

The recruitment drive covers various job levels, from Group-C non-gazetted to Group-A gazetted positions, reinforcing the state's workforce across multiple sectors.
