Amravati, 25 Dec (HS): The Crime Branch of Amravati

Police arrested two people and seized 57 gm narcotic drug Mephedrone (MD) from

them. The market price of the MD is Rs 6.1 lakh. The two were arrested on

Wednesday evening at Oxygen Park and handed over to Amravati’s Frezerpura Police.

The drug peddlers have been identified as Swadesh

Virendra Kumar (26), a resident of Kailashnagar, and Sheikh Mohsin Sheikh Salim

(30), a resident of Habibnagar. Two other suspects Sheikh Shahzad alias Guddu

Tufan of Gausnagar and Sheijh Shahrukh Sheikh Nasir of Lalkhadi are absconding.

Police are searching for them.

The Crime Branch sleuths apprehended two near Oxygen

Park and during enquiry they revealed names of two others.
