Bhubaneswar, 25 December (H.S.) : On the occasion of the birth anniversary of former Prime Minister and Bharat Ratna awardee Atal Bihari Vajpayee, observed as Good Governance Day, a Women’s Yoga and Blood Donation Camp was organised in the Pokhariput area of Bhubaneswar.

Deputy Chief Minister Prabhati Parida attended the programme as the chief guest. Addressing the gathering, she encouraged the mothers and women participants who took part in the yoga session and blood donation camp, emphasising the importance of yoga for maintaining good health and leading a disease-free life. She said yoga not only strengthens physical and mental well-being but also helps in achieving a balanced lifestyle.

Highlighting the significance of blood donation, the Deputy Chief Minister described it as a noble act, stating that it plays a vital role in saving lives and reflects a strong sense of social responsibility.

She also lauded the innovative and socially beneficial initiative organised on the occasion of Atal Bihari Vajpayee’s birth anniversary.

The programme was attended by Bhubaneswar (Ekamra) MLA Babu Singh and several other dignitaries.
