New Delhi, 25 December (H.S.): On the occasion of Good Governance Day, the Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions launched five major digital reforms aimed at promoting transparency and citizen-centric administration. The initiatives include the Ex-Servicemen Reservation Compilation, AI-based Recruitment Rules Tool, e-HRMS 2.0 Mobile App, iGOT AI Platform, and Karmayogi Digital Learning Lab 2.0.

These technological interventions are designed to strengthen core governance processes, support key stakeholder groups, and equip civil servants to respond effectively to challenges in an evolving administrative landscape.

Minister of State in the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO), Dr. Jitendra Singh, inaugurated a national workshop on ‘Good Governance Practices 2025’ in New Delhi on Thursday. Addressing senior officials, policymakers, and stakeholders, Dr. Singh emphasized that good governance is not an abstract ideal, but a daily administrative responsibility rooted in transparency, accountability, and citizen-focused service delivery. He noted that although the idea of good governance has long existed, its true implementation began under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi after 2014, guided by the principle of “Minimum Government, Maximum Governance.”

Detailing the newly launched initiatives, the Minister said:

The Digital Compilation of Ex-Servicemen Reservation Guidelines will ensure clarity, uniformity, and timely benefits for eligible personnel.

The AI-powered Recruitment Rules Tool will simplify drafting, amending, and monitoring recruitment rules, thereby reducing delays and inconsistencies.

The Integrated Mobile Platform e-HRMS 2.0 App will help government employees seamlessly access services related to service records, promotions, training, transfers, and retirement.

The AI-driven modules on the iGOT platform, including AI Saarathi, AI Tutor, and specialized learning tracks, will deliver personalized, data-based training and capacity building.

The upgraded Karmayogi Digital Learning Lab 2.0, featuring AR/VR technology, gamification, and simulation tools, will enhance practical learning and efficiency among civil servants.

Dr. Singh reaffirmed the government’s commitment to leveraging innovation and technology in establishing a transparent, responsive, and efficient governance ecosystem that empowers both officials and citizens alike.
