Dehradun, January 9 (HS): Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami on Thursday flagged off a 72-member contingent of Uttarakhand for the 28th National Youth Festival to be held between January 10 and 12 at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi.

On this occasion, the Chief Minister said that the National Youth Festival provides a big platform for the youth to showcase their talent and perform. While wishing the participants, he expressed hope that all of them will make Uttarakhand proud at the national level.

On this occasion, Chief Minister and Youth Welfare Minister Rekha Arya wished all the participants for participating in the National Youth Festival and also expressed hope that all these participants will make the state proud at the national level.

In the said team, 30 participants related to cultural programs and 42 young leaders related to developed India will showcase their talent in the National Youth Festival. In the 72-member team, 40 women participants are representing women empowerment.

On this occasion, Special Principal Secretary Youth Welfare Amit Sinha, Nodal Officer Youth Festival S.K. Jayaraj, State Director Youth Center Organization Anil Singh, State N.S.S. Officer Dr. Sunaina Rawat and others were present.
