4 January (H.S.): On the pretext of marriage, the young man has been having an

immoral relationship with the girl for the last four years and is demanding Rs

15 lakh for the marriage. On the complaint of the victim, the police have

registered a case under serious sections against the accused including his

brother and father and started investigation. The victim, a resident of a

village in the Sadar Kotwali area of ​​the district, gave a police complaint

letter and said that four years ago she had met Jitendra, a resident of

Karharakalan. On the pretext of marriage, he took her to a room in the district

headquarters, molested her and had an immoral relationship with her. When the

victim asked for marriage, the accused started demanding Rs 15 lakh as dowry.

After which the brother and father of the accused are also talking about

getting married after the demand of Rs 15 lakh is fulfilled. They say that they

will marry only when they give money. On Saturday, Sadar Kotwali in-charge

Inspector Arjun Singh said that on the basis of the complaint regarding the

matter, a case has been registered under serious sections against the accused

Jeetendra, his father Vrindavan and brother. The case is being investigated by

SI Gaurav Choubey.
