6 January (H.S.): In Kolhata Kamal village of Maharajganj police station area

of ​​the district, a married woman committed suicide by hanging herself under

suspicious circumstances. People came to know about the incident on Monday

morning. After the information, the police reached the spot and after informing

the parents, took the body into custody.

35-year-old Anupriya Maurya, wife of

Monu Maurya, resident of Kekolhata Kamal village of Maharajganj police station

area, went to sleep in her room after having dinner on Sunday night.

She committed

suicide by hanging himself in the room at night under suspicious circumstances.

Due to severe cold wave, when she did not come out of the room even after a

long time on Monday morning, her family members went to call her. When there

was no movement from inside even after calling, the family members became

suspicious and peeped inside through the window. Seeing Anupriya's body hanging

in the room, the family members raised an alarm. Neighbours informed the police

about this incident. After receiving the information, the police reached the

spot, broke the door and took the body into their custody. After investigating

the incident, the police sent the body for post-mortem.
