Dibrugarh (Assam), 18 September (HS): Bishal Phukan, accused of committing a scam of ₹2200 crore through online trading, was presented in the court of Session Judge.

As per the regular procedure, he was to be presented in the court on Wednesday. Bishal Phukan has been in judicial custody since September 7. Police had demanded five days of police custody of Bishal, but the court rejected the police's plea and sent Bishal back to judicial custody.
