Delhi CM's Response to Controversial Arrest in Liquor Case Takes Supreme Court by Storm

Delhi, 27 April (H.S): Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has filed his response to the Enforcement Directorate's affidavit in the Supreme Court, addressing the controversy surrounding his arrest in the Delhi Liquor policy case.

In his response, Kejriwal highlighted the timing and manner of his arrest, just before the announcement of the Lok Sabha elections and the implementation of the Model Code of Conduct. He accused the ED of arbitrariness and stated that there is no evidence to suggest that his party, AAP, received funds or kickbacks from the South group for their election campaign in Goa.

Kejriwal also emphasized that not a single rupee was traced back to AAP, and the allegations against them are baseless and lack any tangible evidence. His affidavit sheds light on the lack of corroboration and vagueness of these accusations. Kejriwal's firm denial and strong defense against these allegations demonstrate his determination to fight for justice and uphold the integrity of his party.
