New Delhi, May 09 (HS): Home and Cooperation Minister Amit Shah remembered the second Sikh Guru Angad Dev on Prakash Parv and the mighty Maharana Pratap of Mewar on his birth anniversary.

Shah wrote, Guru Angad Dev Ji further carried forward the spirit of service of Sikhism and developed the Gurmukhi script to spread Guruvani to the masses. His life dedicated to lifelong education, harmony, peace and hospitality will continue to inspire everyone on the path of human welfare.

Union Minister Shah has also remembered Maharana Pratap on his birth anniversary on his X handle. He wrote, Huge tribute to the brave son of Mother India, Maharana Pratap ji, on his birth anniversary. Maharana Pratap ji, an embodiment of bravery, valor and indomitable courage, set a high standard of sacrifice for the motherland. The souls of the enemies trembled at the very name of Maharana ji, who brought the Mughal invaders to their knees with his amazing fighting skills. The country will continue to take inspiration from the life of such a great leader of culture, self-religion and self-respect for ages.
