Mumbai, 09 May (HS): Shiv Sena (UBT) leader and Rajya Sabha member Sanjay Raut on Thursday said the Enforcement Directorate (ED) should investigate industrialists Gautam Adani and Mukesh Ambani.

Sanjay Raut said that on Wednesday, PM Modi accused the Congress party and said that it is contesting the Lok Sabha elections on the black money of industrialists Gautam Adani and Mukesh Ambani.

Sanjay Raut told reporters on Thursday that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has accused industrialists Gautam Adani and Mukesh Ambani of financial misappropriation. The Enforcement Directorate (ED), a responsible organisation, should consider this statement of the Prime Minister as an official statement and investigate the money laundering case and arrest Ambani as well as Adani. Sanjay Raut cited two campaign meetings of Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Telangana. It is also being said that through this program Modi has publicly mentioned Adani and Ambani for the first time.

Sanjay Raut said that the Prime Minister of the country is saying that the black money of Gautam Adani and Mukesh Ambani is going to the Congress at full speed. Congress is fighting elections on that money. This means that Modi knows about this corruption, this malpractice. This is a case of money laundering under PMLA. Therefore Modi should ask the Enforcement Directorate to arrest these two industrialists. Modi and BJP have been arresting opposition leaders under this PMLA Act for the last few years. Now they should take action against Adani and Ambani under the same law.

The head of the Enforcement Directorate should immediately take action in this matter under Article 45A by taking a statement from Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
