VK Singh, Sunil Sharma and Narendra Kashyap exercise franchise in Ghaziabad


Ghaziabad, 26 April (HS): On Friday, union Minister of State VK Singh, Uttar Pradesh Cabinet Minister Sunil Sharma, Minister of State with Independent Charge Narendra Kashyap cast their votes in the second phase of Ghaziabad Lok Sabha seat.

VK Singh reached the Schiller Institute in Rajnagar with his wife and cast his vote. During this, he gave vague answers to the questions posed by the media. Sunil Sharma cast his vote in Vasundhara Sector 5 School. Narendra Kashyap reached the polling booth of Bhagirath Public School under Muradnagar police station area to vote. His family including his wife Devendari Kashyap, son Sagar Kashyap and Siddharth Kashyap also exercised their right to vote during this period.

On this occasion, Minister Narendra Kashyap has said that it is clearly visible from the way the public is turning out in the second phase that Bharatiya Janata Party will win 80 out of 80 seats in Uttar Pradesh and the lotus will bloom. He said that democracy is getting stronger. The way people are coming out of their homes to exercise their franchise despite the scorching heat; it shows the faith in our democracy and Constitution.

During this, he has appealed to the people of Ghaziabad to come out of their homes and exercise their franchise. Apart from this, many important people including Mayor Sunita Dayal, Police Commissioner Ajay Mishra, District Magistrate Indravikram Singh, GDA Vice President Atul Vats and Municipal Commissioner Vikramaditya Malik have exercised the right to vote.

In Ghaziabad, union Minister General (retd) V K Singh voted in the morning. Singh, the incumbent BJP MP from Ghaziabad, has stated that he would not run in the polls this time, and the party has instead nominated former state government minister Atul Garg as its candidate.

In answer to a query, Singh expressed confidence that the BJP will meet Modi's aim of crossing 400 seats in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections. The ruling BJP has fielded Govil from Meerut, Atul Garg from Ghaziabad, and Mahesh Sharma from Gautam Buddh Nagar. Danish Ali, a Congress candidate, is running in Amroha.
