Amit Shah Update: HM targets Akhilesh for praising Mohammad Ali Jinnah

Hardoi, 8 May (HS): On Wednesday, union Home Minister Amit Shah blasted Samajwadi Party president Akhilesh Yadav for previously calling Pakistan's founder Mohammad Ali Jinnah a 'wonderful' man.

Addressing a rally in Hardoi, the Home Minister recalled that at the opening ceremony of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel's monument in 2021, the then Uttar Pradesh chief minister hailed Jinnah a 'great leader'. Akhilesh Yadav should understand history since Jinnah was the one who caused India's split. Akhilesh makes such remarks only for political reasons. Should you vote for such people? the Home Minister questioned.

He also chastised Congress leader Rahul Gandhi for taking summer vacations and traveling overseas. Rahul Baba travels to Thailand when temperatures rise here, while Prime Minister Modi has not taken a vacation in 23 years. The overall scam value of INDIA bloc members is ₹12 lakh crore, yet no one can condemn PM Modi for even minor corruption in 23 years.

According to Shah, the personal secretary of a Jharkhand minister has ₹30 crore in his residence, a Congress MP has ₹350 crore, and a former minister in the Mamata administration has ₹50 crore. According to the union Minister, Rahul Baba traveled from Amethi to Wayanad before arriving at Raebareli. He plans to travel directly to Italy from Raebareli.

Shah also invited people to come to Delhi on June 4 with famed 'laddoos' from Sandila, as the NDA had already won 190 seats in the first three phases of the elections.

Shah claimed that the Samajwadi Party and the Congress will be totally defeated in upcoming elections, accusing Rahul Gandhi of supporting Pakistan's goal, which is why politicians from neighboring countries have praised him.
