Muslims will vote five times more for BJP in Lucknow: MLC Bukkal Nawab

Lucknow, 26 April (HS): Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader and Legislative Council member Bukkal Nawab said on Friday that Muslim voters in Lucknow used to vote two to three percent for BJP in the Lok Sabha elections.

In the changed environment, Muslims will vote for BJP five times more. He believes that this time BJP will get around 15 percent Muslim votes in the Lok Sabha elections.

Bukkal Nawab told Hindusthan Samachar that Shia Muslims in Lucknow have been voting for BJP. This time Sunni Muslim voters will also be seen voting. In front of Kalicharan School, on the road coming towards Hata, there is Sunni Belt. If you inquire there, you will understand that Sunni voters are also standing with BJP.

On BJP's lead in Muslim area in Lucknow, he said that many Muslim houses in his area Hussainabad are beneficiaries of Ujjwala Gas Scheme. The development policy implemented by BJP governments is not divided. What is for the Hindu society, the development policy is same for the Muslim society. While the gas cylinders have reached Hindu homes, they have also reached Muslim families in Hussainabad.

In such a situation, BJP is bound to rise. He said that religious leaders like Maulana Kalbe Jawwad among Shia and Maulana Abdul Waheed Farooqui of Patanala among Sunni are with us. Muslims are big sympathizer of BJP candidate Rajnath Singh. They are going to play a big role in making BJP and Rajnath Singh win. “Apart from the Muslim religious leaders of Lucknow, there are many social organizations which work for the welfare of Muslim people and they are also working for BJP,” he concluded.
