BJP and JD(S) Leaders to Meet in Bengaluru for Joint Coordination

Delhi, 29 March (H.S): A joint coordination meeting between the leaders of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and Janata Dal (Secular) (JD(S)) has been scheduled for March 29 in Bengaluru, as announced by JD(S) leader H D Kumaraswamy on Tuesday. The meeting aims to ensure that there is a proper understanding between the leaders and workers of both parties ahead of the upcoming Lok Sabha polls.

This move comes after JD(S) joined the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) last September and formed an electoral alliance with the BJP in Karnataka. As per the arrangement, JD(S) will be contesting in three seats - Mandya, Hassan, and Kolar. Kumaraswamy also mentioned that he had spoken to the state BJP President B Y Vijayendra over phone about this coordination meeting, which will involve leaders from both parties in all 28 Lok Sabha constituencies.

The meeting is crucial in ensuring a united front and smooth functioning of both parties' workers from top to bottom during the crucial election period. With this joint coordination meeting, it is evident that BJP and JD(S) are determined to work together towards their common goal of securing a strong mandate in Karnataka for the upcoming Lok Sabha polls.
