Mamata Govt sympathizes with terrorists: Nadda

Baharampur, 28 April (HS): On Saturday, BJP president JP Nadda said that Trinamool Congress chief Mamata Banerjee wants a government at the Centre that is soft on terrorism. Nadda said during an election rally in Murshidabad, West Bengal, that the TMC administration led by Banerjee is notorious for corruption, extortion, appeasement, and prejudice. We discuss a 'Majboot Sarkar', but Mamata Banerjee prefers a 'Majboor Sarkar'. She wants a Delhi administration that supports appeasement, corruption, and bigotry while also having a soft spot for terrorists. We are opposed to her appeasement tactics, which supports infiltrators and opposes the CAA... her administration sympathizes with terrorists, Nadda said.

Referring to school job frauds that led over 26,000 individuals to lose their jobs, Nadda said that corruption and looting have become the order of the day under TMC control. This government in West Bengal has produced nothing but endless frauds. The newly revealed teacher recruitment fraud resulted in the loss of livelihood and possibilities for thousands of individuals... this demonstrates that corruption and looting are commonplace in the state, he stated. Nadda attacked the Congress, alleging that the grand old party is keen to take the rights of OBC, SC, and ST brothers and sisters while also luring Muslims for political advantage.

Regarding the Sandeskhali episodes, in which local TMC leader Shajahan Sheikh and his accomplices are accused of sexual assault of women and land-grabbing, he said that women are not secure under Mamata Banerjee's leadership in the state.

“The way women were tormented in Sandeshkhali, and Mamata Banerjee's attempt to defend Shajahan Sheikh, who toyed with women's respect and dignity, is really sad. What could be more disgusting than harassing women in a state run by a woman? Mamata Banerjee's motto was 'Maa Mati and Manush', yet neither mothers nor sisters are secure in the state. What occurred at Sandeshkhali is heartbreaking, as TMC thugs toyed with the dignity of our ladies,” he continued.
