New Delhi, 4 December (H.S.): On Wednesday, Congress General Secretary and MP from Wayanad Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, along with other Kerala MPs, met with Home Minister Amit Shah to discuss the dire situation after a devastating landslide in the area.
Priyanka informed the media that they had appealed to the central government for cooperation and assistance for the affected people of Wayanad.
She stated that the landslide has caused great damage and loss to the lives and families of the people in the region, leaving them without any support system.
The MPs urged the Home Minister to take immediate action to help the victims of this natural disaster. They also highlighted that during Prime Minister Narendra Modi's visit to the area, the affected people had hoped for assistance from the government, but no help has been received yet.
