Tinsukia (Assam), 1 December (HS). Local people heaved a sigh of relief after the forest department caught the leopard which had become a synonym of terror in Margherita of Tinsukia district. The forest department said on Sunday that after receiving complaints from the local people, a cage was installed in the area by the Margherita forest office to catch the leopard. The leopard got trapped in it.

After the leopard was caught, a large number of people reached to see the leopard. Local people said that there are more leopards in the area. The forest department team should catch the remaining leopards as soon as possible by setting up cages.
