Guwahati, 8 October (HS): Four Bangladeshi infiltrators have been arrested and sent back across the border to Bangladesh. Chief Minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma said through social media today, We are fully aware against infiltration. As a result, our Assam Police arrested four Bangladeshi infiltrators named Jahangir, Nukadia Bibi, Rumana and Hussain on the India-Bangladesh border. Later they were sent back across the border to Bangladesh.

The Chief Minister said, Day by day, I appreciate the work of our policemen, who have helped in preventing infiltration by protecting the borders.
