Guwahati, 8 October (HS): In connection with the ongoing investigation of Assam Police Special Task Force (STF) Police Station Case No. 07/2024, U/S- 21(C)/25/29 NDPS Act, a raid has been conducted by STF near Dikshita Hotel in Boko Police Station area and a wanted accused has arrested.

Apart from this, a Bolero vehicle (AS- 26A- 0020), a mobile phone and eight thousand rupees were recovered in the said raid.

The arrested person has been identified as Hamid Ali (45, Tamuldi, Boko, Kamrup).

Later, under the leadership of the above accused and on his information, a search was conducted at the house of Sarat Rabha (landlord), where the accused Hamid Ali is residing on rent at Borpara in Boko Police Station area.

During the search, suspected heroin weighing 11 grams (without soap box) was recovered from a soap box and 220 vials containing suspected heroin weighing 290 grams. Thus, a total of 301 grams of heroin and 21 empty vials were recovered by the police in the said raid.
