Guwahati, 8 October (HS): A team of Jalukbari police station of Guwahati arrested a fake policeman involved in a robbery case. Police said on Tuesday that the WGPD team of Jalukbari police station arrested Sanjay Baishya of Belsar who robbed ₹7,000 from a person in Gorchuk by posing as a policeman.

The vehicle (AS-01EG-4841) used during the commission of the crime has also been seized by the police. Legal action has been initiated on the basis of the FIR lodged by the complainant regarding the incident.
