
New Delhi, 20 July (H.S.): Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday praised the courage, confidence and determination of India’s youth while sharing a Sanskrit subhashit (wise saying). He said that young Indians today are achieving historic milestones through their courage, effective utilisation of resources and relentless hard work, which are emerging as the greatest strength of a developed India (Viksit Bharat).
In a post on the social media platform X, the Prime Minister shared the Sanskrit verse:
प्राप्यापदं न व्यथते कदाचिदुद्योगमनविचति चाप्रमत्तः।
दुःखं च काले सहते महात्मा धुरंधरस्तस्य जिताः सपत्नीः॥
Explaining its meaning, Prime Minister Modi said that a great person who never loses courage even in difficult circumstances, remains continuously committed to his work with full alertness and dedication, and patiently endures challenging times, is considered to have already defeated his adversaries.
The Prime Minister said that India’s youth are achieving new milestones today through their courage, self-confidence and hard work. He expressed confidence that the same energy, determination and dedication of young Indians will become the biggest driving force in building a developed India.
