Guwahati, 01 July (HS): Northeast Frontier Railway (NFR) has introduced interactive digital technologies at crew lobbies across Katihar Division to enhance the training of Loco Pilots and improve operational safety.

The initiative includes interactive touch panels, quizzes and a working model of the Automatic Signalling System, interactive route videos for day and night conditions and a dedicated podcast series on railway operational topics. The crew lobby at Malda Town has also been upgraded with modern digital facilities to support technology-enabled learning and counselling.

NFR said the digital initiatives are aimed at strengthening operational knowledge, improving decision-making skills and ensuring safer and more efficient train operations.---------
