Mau, Uttar Pradesh government minister AK Sharma stated that reports suggest

the 2027 assembly elections could be held within the next five months. He urged

party workers to begin preparing for the election now. The minister urged party

workers to meet with at least four people daily, listen to their problems, and

work to resolve them, further strengthening the organization. The minister's

statement has sparked political debate in the district, with various political

parties expressing varying reactions to the statement. The event was held at

the old tehsil complex in Mau city, where Minister AK Sharma served as the

chief guest.
