New Delhi, 10 June (H.S.): Union Minister for Agriculture and Farmers’ Welfare Shivraj Singh Chouhan on Wednesday described Prime Minister Narendra Modi as “a blessing from God for India” as the NDA government completed 12 years under his leadership. He said the Prime Minister had not taken a moment’s rest during the past 12 years and had devoted himself day and night to serving the nation and its people.
Offering prayers at the Hanuman Temple on Vinay Marg in the national capital, Chouhan wished Prime Minister Modi good health, a long life and continued success in leadership. He said Modi is the longest-serving continuously elected Prime Minister in India’s history and continues to hold the office.
According to Chouhan, public service is a sacred mission for Prime Minister Modi. He remarked that an ordinary person could not sustain such relentless dedication and hard work day and night. Referring to the concept of the “superman” envisioned by philosopher and spiritual leader Sri Aurobindo, he said Modi works tirelessly and continuously in the national interest without fatigue or interruption.
The Union Minister stated that the country has witnessed an unprecedented pace of infrastructure development during the past 12 years, one that would have been difficult to imagine earlier. He said the Prime Minister launched and effectively implemented numerous welfare schemes aimed at improving the lives of women, youth, farmers and economically weaker sections of society.
Chouhan further described Modi as a visionary leader who understands future challenges and opportunities well in advance and formulates policies accordingly. He said the Prime Minister’s approach and commitment to national development set him apart. According to him, Modi constantly thinks about the nation and its citizens and prepares detailed long-term strategies to translate his ideas into reality.
He added that national interest remains the Prime Minister’s highest priority. While Modi demonstrates compassion, empathy and dedication toward ordinary citizens, he maintains a firm stance against anti-national and anti-social elements.
Highlighting India’s global role under Modi’s leadership, Chouhan said the Prime Minister believes in the principle of “Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam” — the world is one family. He noted that during the COVID-19 pandemic, India supplied vaccines to more than 100 countries and extended assistance to nations facing crises. He said India has emerged as a leading force in serving humanity on the global stage under Prime Minister Modi’s leadership.
